Library Director

Tami Coil accepted the position of Library Director in 2018.

She started her library experience as IT Coordinator at Sloan Public Library in 2009, working up to Co-Director, and finally, Director of the Sloan Public Library in 2017. In her 10 years of library experience, she handled all IT responsibilities, and when the library embarked on their capital campaign, she was responsible for planning and executing many fundraisers, as well as writing several grants that helped fund their new library.

Tami came to the Sergeant Bluff Public Library as the library was growing, helping the library organize their space, and implementing an automated check out/cataloging system that was completed in early 2020.

Tami enjoys working with all the fantastic volunteers and is excited for the future of the Sergeant Bluff Library!
